NMIMS Management
Aptitude Test (NMAT) is the official entrance exam to enter SVKM's Narsee
Monjee Institute Of Management Studies (School Of Business Management). NMIMS offers
a wide range of MBA programs, both general management and specialised areas, to
suit industry requirements and make a student future ready.

Admissions
to all these programs are through NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT)
followed by Group Discussions & Personal Interview. NMAT is
conducted in a time frame of 3 months, allowing choice of two retakes to the
students should any of them wish to. In such cases, the best of three scores
will be considered.

Pearson
VUE will carry out the online registration & will conduct NMAT on behalf of
NMIMS. Interested candidates have to visit the NMIMS website for online
registration. For appearing for NMAT online application has to be duly
submitted & payment of registration charges need to be made in any of the
prescribed mode i.e. Credit card, Cash at Bank or Demand Draft within
stipulated time.
Eligibility Criteria For Admission:
MBA
/ MBA Banking / MBA Capital Market
- Full Time
Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a UGC recognized University
with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt.
- The
candidate must have completed graduation in the stipulated duration as per the
respective University/Institution awarding the degree.
- Those
candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or
through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are
NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
MBA
HR (Selection
process is separate)
- Full Time
Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a UGC recognized University
with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt.
- The
candidate must have completed graduation in the stipulated duration as per the
respective University/Institution awarding the degree.
- Those
candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or
through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are
NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
MBA
Pharmaceutical Management (Selection
process is separate)
- Full Time
Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in Pharmacy, Science, Life Sciences, Medical
doctors MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, B.Sc and M.Sc in Biotechnology from a UGC
recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt.
Post Graduate degree in Economics, Psychology and Sociology can also apply.
- The
candidate must have completed graduation in the stipulated duration as per the
respective University/Institution awarding the degree.
- Those candidates
who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through
distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are NOT
ELIGIBLE to apply.
- Candidates with B.Tech & B.E in Bio Tech
& Bio – Medical are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates presently working in Pharmaceutical
Companies for more than a year are preferred.
PGDM
– Bengaluru campus / PGDM – Hyderabad campus
- Full Time
Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a UGC recognized University
with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt.
- The candidate must have completed graduation
in the stipulated duration as per the respective University/Institution
awarding the degree.
- Those
candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or

NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
Structure of the Test:
NMAT would
be an objective type multiple-choice test. (There will be no descriptive type
questions).
The NMAT
will comprise the following:
Language
Skills: 32 Questions in 22 minutes
Quantitative
Skills: 48 Questions in 60 minutes
Logical
Reasoning: 40 Questions in 38 minutes
Total: 120
Questions in 120 minutes
The
candidate should note that it is important for them to perform well relative to
other candidates in each of the 3 sections of the test as the score of each
section and the overall score will be used to shortlist the candidate for
the second stage of the selection process as well as in the final
ranking. Please note that there will be no negative marking.
Note: If
the candidate is not satisfied by his/her NMAT score in the first attempt
he/she may schedule for Re-take NMAT by visiting www.pearsonvue.com/nmims and
logging in with the allotted username and password. In case of candidates
taking more than one attempt the best score which is the total score & its
respective sectional score, which make the candidate eligible as per the cut offs
declared by NMIMS, will be considered for short listing for subsequent process.
(Cut off means sectional as well as total score). The scores of all the
attempts taken by the candidate will be declared on the NMIMS website.
