Career Options without a Bachelor’s degree

The conviction that you can’t get a well-paid and gratifying job if you don’t have a bachelor’s degree is swiftly fading away. Take the example of some of the most successful industrial leaders like founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates or CEO of Oracle, Larry Ellison-none of them have a bachelor’s degree. A college degree certainly holds some value in the professional arena, but it is not the only way to be successful in your career.

Whilst the academic qualifications demanded for many good jobs have gone up in these years, however there are many career options that still do not need a bachelor’s degree. Indeed, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics says that in the course of 2014, 8 out of 10 fastest growing careers including firefighting, health technology, automobile repair, plumbing, etc., won’t require a college degree.

Some of the Career options that do not require a formal bachelor’s degree include-

  1. Fashion Designers apply their designs and aesthetic skills on clothes and accessories.
  2. Desktop Publishers, who use computer software to create publication ready materials like books, magazines, business cards etc.
  3. Real Estate Brokers who act as the linking pin between the buyer and seller of real estate.
  4. Dental Assistants provide different types of care to patients and perform laboratory duties.
  5. Flight Attendants ensure that flight regulations are followed and try to make flights comfortable.
  6. Industrial Production Managers look after the daily manufacturing and factory-related activities.

Well there are even more career option available for which you don’t require a college degree. All you need to have is the skill. Know what’s best for you at EduGroomers!
