  • Management: Management graduates bag amongst the highest annual packages. Nonetheless, this depends on their college.
  • Finance: Sound professionals in financial modeling, planning and investments/growth who help in getting finances for the company through public or private sector, as well as grow them, attract a premium. Such professionals have an acute knowledge of finance at their finger tips and are always well connected with worldly news.
  • IT and software industry: Outsourcing dominates this sector. This industry has grown in the past decade and created immense opportunities.
  • Law: This profession requires basic knowledge of law. Once you are recognized, there is no shortage of money.
  • Chartered Accountant: Every company requires a chartered accountant to manage its accountants. Even inexperienced CAs start their jobs with a CTC of 3.5-4.5 lakhs per year.

  • Doctors: These professionals have a never-ending demand. Specialization in any healthcare field can fetch huge returns in a short time. It is common to find good doctors making more than Rs 1 lakh a day in their practice, within 7-10 years of their practice.
  • Investment Bankers: These professionals help companies as well as wealthy individuals invest their money effectively to yield good returns.
  • Entertainment Industry – Fashion, Acting: There is no shortage of money in this industry. However, there is no fixed salary in this profession.
  • Oil and Gas industry: Engineers and geologists are the top professionals in this field. An entry level person can earn 3-4 lakh/year.
