BITSAT 2012

BITSAT 2012 is a Computer based online test for Admission to Integrated First Degree Programmes of BITS Pilani Campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. It is a 3 hour test, conducted between 10th May 2012 and 9th June 2012.

BITS Pilani Programmes
- B.E. (Hons.): Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Instrumentation, Mechanical, Manufacturing.
- B.Pharm. (Hons.)
- M.Sc. (Hons.): Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematics, Physics
- M.Sc. (Tech.): General Studies, Finance, Information Systems

Eligibility
For admission to any of the Integrated First Degree Programmes of BITS the candidate should have passed the 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Further, the candidate should have obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th class examination, at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and adequate proficiency in English. However, admissions will be made only on his/her merit position based on the score obtained in BITSAT2012. Only Students who are appearing for 12th class examination in 2012 or who have passed the 12th class examination in 2011 are eligible to appear for BITSAT2012.

How to apply
Interested candidates should register for BITSAT 2012 by applying in the prescribed application form at http://bitsadmission.com. Deadline to register for BITSAT 2012 by filling the online form is 15th Feb 2012 at 5:00pm.

Date for BITSAT 2012: 10th May 2012 and 9th June 2012.
